The Grinder niet meer Wii exclusief
High Voltage gaat multiplatform.
High Voltage, die de game The Conduit exclusief naar de Wii bracht, heeft besloten een andere game naar meerdere consoles te brengen. Hoewel ze zeker nog wel liefde hebben voor de Wii vinden de hoge heren bij High Voltage het jammer dat zogehete hardcore games het slecht doen op de Wii.
Hierdoor is besloten om de game The Grinder multiplatform te maken en hem ook te releasen op de PC, Xbox 360 en PlayStation 3. We moeten nog wel even wachten totdat deze shooter het levenslicht ziet, de game wordt pas in 2011 verwacht. Hieronder wat meer informatie over wat er precies gezegd is door Kerry Ganofsky.
"Our secret is out! Grinder is no longer a Wii exclusive. We plan to ship on Xbox 360, Sony PS3, and PC as well. We are extremely proud of the sales for The Conduit, with over 350,000 copies sold, numerous 'best-of 2009′ nods, and over a million hours played according to the Nintendo Channel, we are the go-to FPS on the Wii. If you look at the sales for the games that are lumped in as 'hardcore' titles for the Wii (Silent Hill, Dead Space, et al), you'll notice that sales for those types of games are low across the board. Which, to us, still sounds like reason enough to go multiplatform."
